Perfect ham, every time

M'kay, so you all heard about the Fowl Chicken experiment. So how about something that never, ever fails?

Here's my buddy again....

I didn't take photos (too busy pigging OUT!), but here's my fast n' dirty way of making the perfect ham, every time:

1 butt portion ham, 5-7 lbs.
About 3/4 c. brown sugar

Cut ham package open, and dump any liquid into the crock pot. Rub entire ham with brown sugar. Place cut-side down in your crock pot. If using, insert probe, and set crock pot for 170F end-temperature- if not, set on High, and cook for about 4 hours, checking for doneness after 3 hours.

That's it. No basting, no nothin'- just ham, perfect and moist, every time! Simplest thing in the world.
